The Mahenge/Epanko project is Ruby International Limited’s first mining site. It was founded in 2013 by our CEO, Salim Almass. The project is located in the outskirts of Mahenge Town in Ulanga District. The site covers an expansive area of about 2000 sq meters and is famous for producing world renowned top-quality spinels. Currently, our mine has 5 pits and we use the open-cast method to source our gems.
