Tourmaline

Tourmaline is prized for one of the widest colour ranges of any gemstones we produce. Our green material; also known as verdelite, spans pale mint to deep forest green, driven by trace iron content within its aluminium-boron crystal lattice. Alongside it, our yellow tourmaline offers a warmer, sunlit brilliance prized by collectors seeking something rarer than the more familiar green stones. Ruby International mined Tourmaline in Mwakijembe, Tanga from 2023 to 2025.
